Спасибо ——— Analyst (data + writing + AI) - Black Sea and global grain markets We’re looking for a full-time analyst to join SovEcon, a leading consultancy focused on Black Sea and global grain markets. Our work is used by major funds and traders and is regularly cited in Bloomberg, Reuters, FT, and WSJ. This is a hands-on role working with market data, analysis and content. You will prepare structured datasets and contribute to clear, well-written analytical outputs. What you’ll do: — collect and reconcile data from multiple sources (production, trade, flows) — work with data in Excel and Google Sheets, and organize it into a clear, usable structure — maintain and update datasets on a regular basis — prepare weekly and monthly market summaries — use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to support research and writing, with proper validation — contribute to newsletters and other written content — build simple charts and visuals What matters most: — understanding of basic economics (supply, demand, price) — ability to work with data and reconcile different sources — clear and concise writing — working proficiency in Russian — good working English (including reviewing and editing AI-generated text) — attention to detail and accuracy — reliability and ability to meet deadlines Nice to have: — interest in commodity markets — background in economics / data / journalism — experience using AI in analytical work Format: — full-time, remote — start with a short paid trial (1–2 weeks), then full-time Important: We work with international contractors. You should be able to receive payments to a non-Russian account.
