Le tre Grazie (2021) by Italian artist Massimiliano Pelletti (b. 1975). Some of Pelletti works reinterprets art history through the transformation of presumed imperfections like cracks, chips and rough textures. In this sculpture, there's an allusion to Antonio Canova's statue of The Tree Graces (1813–16) which depicts the three daughters of Zeus – Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia – who were said to represent youth, beauty, mirth and elegance. There are many more interpretations of them and even older ones, such as this Botticelli painting in 1485–87 and this Martinelli painting in the 17th century.
