oh guys, I’ve had a hell of a week… (=та еще неделька)✨ my sunshine aka the loveliest daughter in the world - hasn’t been sleeping at night, and it’s such a pain in the ass !! sleep deprivation has taken its toll on me (=недосып сказался на мне), and I can’t properly function anymore 🥱 I mean, it really knocked me off kilter (=выбило меня из колеи), so that’s obviously why I haven’t been up to blogging for a while 😭 btw, which is okay with me, because sometimes some things have to take a back seat (= отойти на второй план) in life so you can prioritize your physical needs ✊🏻 what really helped me deal with the overload was cutting myself some slack (= не быть слишком строгой к себе) and embracing imperfection ✨ and I also was trying to cultivate the habit of turning off my phone for at least a couple of hours so I wouldn’t keep looking at a perpetually vibrating device that’s constantly bombarding me with notifications… oh gosh, it was a godsend!!!! (=настоящее спасение) I hope to bounce back (= восстановится) soon and get some rest so I can be your favorite blogger again starting Monday (I hope so) see ya 🫂
